PREVCON 2025 will be held from October 15-18, 2025 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD where we anticipate over 600 attendees representing unintentional child injury prevention practitioners, researchers and policy makers from across the United States and more than 30 countries across the globe.
Safe Kids invites abstracts addressing unintentional child injury prevention that focus on either research to inform practice, or sharing of lessons learned during the development, implementation and evaluation of programs/policies. Given our commitment to equity in child safety, we are particularly interested in injury prevention work involving culturally responsive engagement, health equity promoting practices and constructive efforts to change systems and achieve social justice. We also invite abstracts addressing topics related to workforce capacity building and coalition development and maintenance.
